My love of photography began in childhood when I was asked to choose a hobby for 4H Club. Unfortunately, I did not have a camera so I ended up in woodworking.

Fast forward to the college years where I studied fine arts. Still without a camera, I began painting. Art studies prompted a move from Tennessee to New York City. In New York I apprenticed photographers until I was knowledgable enough to work as a photographer's assistant. As an assistant I was fortunate to work with some the most respected photographers in the industry.

Photography allowed me to travel the world and shoot for numerous publications and advertisers.

Grateful is an understatement.
